"Blasting Robots" is a small game for the Atari Lynx game console. In this intense arcade game, you must blast as many robots as possible without getting hit. How much destruction can you cause before meeting your own doom?

Use the D-Pad to move and hold A to fire while aiming freely or B to fire with your aim locked into the latest direction (left or right) before pressing the button.
Press Option 2 to enable / disable music.

How to play

Download the game ROM files in .LNX (emulator) and .LYX (flashcart) formats. The fully commented source code is also provided as a separate download if you want to make new games for the Atari LYNX too! This game is my entry to the LynxJam 2024 Game Jam hosted by Atari Lynx Vault. This year, the theme is "Maximum Destruction". In addition to this theme, every participant have to use the same tileset (sprites and background images) selected by the Jam organizers, and make a new game with it! I really enjoyed the theme and the beautiful tileset! Another limitation is the scope, as the whole game must fit under 50ko.
