Growing Ties (Atari Lynx)
Growing Ties is a game requiring both an excellent eye and a good hand dexterity.
Patrons want to get custom ties.
You'll have to cut them perfect-sized ones!
HOW TO PLAY
Press S to grow a tie.
Press D to cut it.
The tie will fall down, and hopefully reach a patron.
Be careful to cut right-sized ties!
You'll get 10 points for a perfectly fitting tie, but less points if it's too long or too short.
A perfect sized tie matches the height of the patron's shirt exactly.
As the levels go along, you'll discover more mechanics explained in the game: combo system, modifying tie colors, limited tie supply, limited time, etc.
ABOUT
This game is an actual Atari Lynx game, created to celebrate the 30th birthday of the most powerful handheld console of the 90's! It's an entry for the Atari Lynx 30th birthday Programming Competition hosted by the wonderful AtariGamer.com website.
You can play it online here thanks to the wonderful emulator RetroArch (Handy core, HTML5 version by ToadKing). But you can also download the ROM for free to play it on any Atari Lynx emulator for any device.

Would you ever do a physical release
Actually, I'm currently working on it!
Since 2019, I've been working hard on creating a "deluxe" version. I've added new levels, new games modes, and polished the overall game experience. I've also included 3 bonus games on the cartridge: Timeloop, Fishing for Atari, and Gift Catcher.
This game should be published on cartridge in a fully featured boxed edition, hopefully by the end of 2021.
